How to get to Valencia

By air

Valencia international airport, located 8 Km away from city center, is connected with the main European airports. From the airport you can reach the city center by:

Metro: take Line Lie 5 Aeropuerto destination Marítim-Serreria or Line 3 Aeropuerto destination Machado – Alboraya Peris Aragó – Rafelbunyol. Journey time: 30-40 minutes. Fare to/from city center: 3.90 €.

Taxi: Journey time: 15-30 minutes. Approx. cost airport-city centre: 20 €.

By train

Valencia is well connected with Madrid and Barcelona with high-speed trains. It takes 1 hour 40 minutes to travel from downtown Madrid (Atocha station) to Valencia city centre (Joaquín Sorolla station). From Barcelona (Sants station) it takes 3 hours. By car

It takes 3-4 hours to travel from Madrid or Barcelona by car, and 1 hour and 30 minutes from Alicante.

By bus
